Anita Keller-Senn is a trained nurse with a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Research (King's College London/UK, 2022).
After her training as a nurse (2000), Anita worked at the Winterthur Cantonal Hospital in various functions and has been working as an APN focusing on diabetes care in the endocrinology/diabetology department since 2015. She commenced her academic training with a part-time Bachelor in Nursing Science ZFH (2010) followed by a Master in Nursing Science ZFH (2012) at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Between 2007 and 2020, Anita worked as a research associate at the Nursing Science Research Unit of the Institute of Nursing at the same University. She has also been an elected member of the cantonal ethics committee in Zurich since 2007.
At the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland (HES-SO), School of Health Sciences Fribourg (HEdS-FR), Anita is working as a research associate in a post-doctoral position in the "Long-Term Care" research team under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Koppitz since 2021.
