The opinions expressed and other information contained on the website may be modified at any time without prior notice. Heds FR accepts no liability and gives no guarantee that the functions available will always be available without interruption or that the relevant web browser is free from viruses or other harmful components.
Heds FR accepts no liability, including in the event of its own negligence, for any direct, indirect or consequential damages that may result from accessing or using elements of its website, or from the inability to access or use them, or from connecting to other websites.
The Heds FR website contains links to third-party websites that may be of interest to visitors. By activating such links, visitors may leave the Heds FR website, or windows from third-party websites may appear within the Heds FR website environment. Heds FR provides the information contained on its website exclusively for private and informational purposes.
Visitors are permitted to download, save, print or otherwise reproduce individual pages and/or sections of the website, provided that neither copyright notices nor other legally protected designations are removed. Heds FR retains all ownership and usage rights and may revoke this permission at any time.
The reproduction (in whole or in part), distribution (electronically or by other means), modification, creation of links to, or use for public or commercial purposes of any information contained on the website requires the prior written consent of Heds FR.
Heds FR attaches great importance to data protection, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the Fribourg Data Protection Act, and takes all necessary measures to comply with the various laws governing the protection of personal data. Visitors to the website decide which personal data they are willing to disclose to Heds FR. However, Heds FR points out that simply by visiting its website, it automatically obtains information that enables it to determine how visitors use the website and which information is of particular interest to them.
By default, the following personal data may be collected and processed:

If a visitor registers, requests documentation or other services, Heds FR requires their personal information (e.g. name and address). Where such services are provided by third parties, Heds FR transmits visitors’ data to the relevant service providers and partners. By requesting the relevant service, visitors consent to this transfer. Otherwise, Heds FR processes personal data confidentially and anonymously and only discloses it to third parties in anonymised form.
The processing of data is intended to enable Heds FR to adapt its website and its own range of services to the needs of users. In particular, data processing is also used for market analysis and to determine the level of interest in the institution, thereby obtaining information that can be used to adapt its services to users’ needs. Any other use of personal data, in particular the sale of such data to third parties, is expressly excluded.

The Heds FR website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text files stored on the user’s computer, to help the website analyse its use and to better identify users on systems with protected databases. The data generated by the cookies concerning use of the website (including the IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers located in the United States. Google uses this information to evaluate the use of the website, compile reports on website activity for its operator and provide other services relating to website activity and Internet use.
Google may disclose this data to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the data on behalf of Google, including in particular the operator of this website. Google will not combine users’ IP addresses with other data held by Google.

As an integral part of HES-SO Fribourg, the Fribourg School of Health (Heds FR) is subject to all legal, regulatory and institutional provisions applicable to HES-SO Fribourg.
Data processing carried out in this context is primarily governed by the applicable data protection legislation of the Canton of Fribourg, as well as by the relevant provisions of Swiss law.
Unless mandatory provisions to the contrary apply, any dispute relating thereto shall be governed by Swiss law and shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent authorities or courts in Fribourg.
Compliance with data protection and other compliance requirements is ensured within the framework of the activities concerned. Data processing activities are reported and registered as required and documented in the Record of Processing Activities (ReAct).
Any data subject may exercise their data protection rights and, in particular, request the deletion of their personal data where the applicable legal requirements are met. Such a request may be submitted using the relevant form available on the HES-SO Fribourg website.
