Informations
Contacts, documents, links, and more
The HES-SO Master of Science in Osteopathy is the logical continuation of the Bachelor's programme and provides access to professional practice. It is structured around three areas of study:
The first focuses on clinical training and real-life practice, with the aim of developing professional autonomy for practice primarily in private practice settings in Switzerland. During this period, students are supervised by practitioner supervisors who are trained to provide supervision in private practices as well as in institutional settings. One third of the clinical training takes place in medical institutions and two thirds in private practices.
The second focuses on integrating, deepening and synthesising the two areas of study covered during the Bachelor's programme. This area is intended to enable future professionals to acquire the diagnostic thinking and osteopathic reasoning skills required for professional practice in accordance with recognised standards of practice.
The third focuses on research and the Master's thesis.
The HES-SO Master of Science in Osteopathy is reserved for graduates of the HES-SO Bachelor of Science in Osteopathy.
