The LORE research group promotes the development of nursing care through clinical research in long-term care facilities. The projects aim to continuously improve and adapt person-centred practices, in order to guarantee evidence-based care for the residents. This person-centred approach makes it a priority to ensure and improve the safety of residents, as well as psychological safety and collaborative relationships between healthcare professionals and relatives. Psychological safety, in particular, contributes to staff retention.

In order to enable long-term care facilities to call on APN-CH nursing experts from the LORE research group, it is possible to partially co-finance their interventions through interRAI.

Support is proudly provided to “demenzpeers”. “demenzpeers” is an innovative platform that brings people with dementia and/or their relatives together – simply, cooperatively and free of charge.
